Chez Toast or Toast Haus

Toast is the most from coast to coast - and this is his Blog! You'll be witness to various insignificant musings. Please take them all with a grain of salt... or curry.

And what the heck is up with the latest rage of folks insisting on backing into their parking spaces. First off, drivers today are not real good at backing up. Secondly, when backing up (a harder thing to do than driving forward), why would you CHOOSE to back up into a place where there is less room to the left and right due to other cars in the adjacent spaces? Wouldn't it make sense to want to back out into the empty street instead of having to back into a cramped spot? Thirdly, I should point out that becuase the steering is at the front of the car, the front of the car is more manueverable. If this were not the case, all cars would be made at the factory as rear steering cars instead of front steering cars. So, it would be logical that you would want to have your most manueverable part of the car pointed towards the most precarious space...

It doesn't make you look any cooler. It doesn't make the process any shorter (as you bozo's take longer to back in than it would have taken for you to back out!). And if you dent my car....
