Chez Toast or Toast Haus

Toast is the most from coast to coast - and this is his Blog! You'll be witness to various insignificant musings. Please take them all with a grain of salt... or curry.

I'm posting this "Bernd" so I can use it on another forum... pay no attention to it.

And I got a thing to fix my front door... we'll see how long it takes for me to actually fix it.
So Little got the job she was wanting in Fayetteville (which is only about 15 minutes from me as oppossed to an hour) and found an apartment in the same area. She'll be moving in this weekend. Fortunately, she has not aquired a ton of stuff yet so it won't be too hard to move her in.

I bought a text book last week... guess that means I'm really going to do this college thing.

Chez Toast or Toast Haus

Little threw me a suprise birthday party this weekend. I found out that she's quite the accomplished fib teller. Should I be nervous about that?

She told me that we were meeting her folks on the north side of town for dinner - which seemed completely legit. When we got there, my family was there, hers was there, and a slew of my best friends. It really was great!

Also, Guitar Hero is quite possibly the greatest game ever made.

Chez Toast or Toast Haus

The local Indian restaurant reopened. And there was much rejoicing.

Chez Toast or Toast Haus
So I attended new student orientation at school this past weekend. I registered for my classes. I'm taking a post-reconstruction US history class and a US government class. It was more expensive than I estimated - not to mention books (What a rip-off!). I wasn't the oldest person there, but I was FAR from the youngest.

My front door handle is broken. I can't go in or out. And I can't get the door open so I don't know how to replace the knob without opening the door. I wish I was handy.

The splash guard under my car fell off last week. Sure wish I was handy. My other car (the 85 Maxima wagon) is running like crap again... wish I was handy.

There is an Italian place in Fayetteville that I used to go to called Baci's. It closed a few years ago but has reopened. I went back this weekend with Little and Mark and Amy. Food was great! Then we went to Starbucks and played some Settlers of Catan. Good times.

I've decided that I want to move. More on that later...
